Custom spine braces including HALO, SOMI, Milwaukee, Boston & TLSO for post-surgical care, immobilization, fracture support, and scoliosis management.
Spinal orthotics provide critical support for stabilization of cervical, thoracic, and lumbar regions. They are essential for post-surgery immobilization, scoliosis correction, fracture management, pain reduction, and posture correction. Our custom-fabricated braces are designed to promote optimal healing while ensuring maximum comfort and functionality for daily activities.
The Halo Brace is a specialized cervical orthosis consisting of a metal ring secured to the skull with pins and connected to a rigid vest. It provides maximum immobilization of the cervical spine.
Patients with severe cervical spine trauma, fractures, or post-operative cases requiring absolute immobilization during the healing process.
The SOMI brace provides effective cervical immobilization through a three-point support system involving the sternum, occiput, and mandible. It offers superior control over flexion and extension movements.
Commonly prescribed after cervical fusion surgery, laminectomy, or discectomy to protect the surgical site and promote proper healing.
Adjustable straps, padded contact points, and lightweight design ensure patient compliance while maintaining therapeutic effectiveness.
Our P&O experts ensure precise adjustment of all three contact points for optimal immobilization without compromising patient comfort or skin integrity.
The Milwaukee Brace is a cervico-thoraco-lumbo-sacral orthosis (CTLSO) featuring a pelvic girdle connected to a neck ring via vertical metal bars. It’s designed for comprehensive spinal support from the cervical to sacral regions.
Specifically engineered to treat adolescent idiopathic scoliosis and thoracic kyphosis by applying corrective forces along the spine’s length.
Vertical bars with strategically placed pressure pads apply three-point corrective forces, while the neck ring and chin support promote proper spinal alignment through active postural correction.
Most effective during skeletal growth phases (typically ages 10-16) when the spine is still responsive to corrective forces.
Individual measurements and X-ray analysis ensure proper pad placement for optimal curve correction and patient comfort during extended wear periods.
The Boston Brace is the most commonly prescribed thoraco-lumbo-sacral orthosis (TLSO) for treating adolescent idiopathic scoliosis affecting the thoracic and lumbar spine regions.
Unlike the Milwaukee brace, the Boston brace features an underarm design without neck support, making it more cosmetically acceptable and easier to conceal under clothing.
Constructed from lightweight polypropylene with strategically placed foam padding to maximize patient compliance while maintaining corrective effectiveness.
Advanced 3D scanning technology captures precise body contours, allowing for customized pressure distribution that targets specific curve patterns for optimal correction.
Typically worn 16-23 hours daily during active growth phases, with gradual weaning protocols as skeletal maturity approaches and curve stability is achieved.
TLSO braces provide comprehensive support and immobilization for the thoracic, lumbar, and sacral spine regions, making them versatile for various spinal conditions and injuries.
Essential for protecting fusion sites after spinal surgery, reducing stress on surgical hardware, and promoting proper healing during the critical recovery period.
Available in different rigidity levels based on clinical requirements:
Individual measurements and X-ray analysis ensure proper pad placement for optimal curve correction and patient comfort during extended wear periods.
